Ya est\u00e1n decididos los cuartos de final del Alicante Ferrero Challenger<\/span><\/span><\/a>. Martin Landaluce ser\u00e1 el representante espa\u00f1ol en esta ronda tras imponerse a uno de los campeones de ediciones anteriores: el eslovaco Lukas Klein que acud\u00eda al torneo como tercer cabeza de serie no pudo con el desparpajo del joven madrile\u00f1o. A Landaluce le cost\u00f3 soltarse. De hecho estuvo 5-1 abajo en el primer set. Poco a poco fue encontr\u00e1ndose m\u00e1s c\u00f3modo y tras maquillar el primer set en el que empezaba a anticipar lo que pod\u00eda suceder logr\u00f3, igualar el partido con un gran segundo set: 3\/6 6\/2. La manga decisiva comenz\u00f3 con buenos intercambios y oportunidades de break para ambos. Mart\u00edn se encontr\u00f3 mucho m\u00e1s cerca del break, especialmente en el sexto y doceavo juego del tercer set, donde se coloc\u00f3 en ambos 0\/40. No consigui\u00f3 convertirlo pero s\u00ed mantener su nivel y seguir apretando en el tiebreak decisivo. Fue entonces cuando logr\u00f3 cerrar el partido con un 7\/6 que le lleva a los cuartos de final del torneo por segundo a\u00f1o consecutivo.<\/p>

Los otros partidos de la jornada tambi\u00e9n fueron muy disputados e intensos. Si bien, los cabezas de serie prevalecieron en los puntos de m\u00e1xima tensi\u00f3n y demostraron porque est\u00e1n todos entre los 150 mejores jugadores del mundo<\/a><\/span>. Ajdukovic, el primer cabeza de serie, se impon\u00eda en el tiebreak del primer set y rompi\u00f3 con ello la fortaleza de su rival por 7\/6(2) 62. Hugo Grenier hac\u00eda lo propio en dos ajustados sets 6\/4 7\/6(0)., El partido m\u00e1s ajustado fue el de Kamil Machrzak. El polaco se enfrentaba a Jiri Vesely, ex36ATP y se vio obligado a remontar en un partido de ca\u00f1oneros en el que se contaron 35 aces en total: 7\/6(2) 6\/7(5) 7\/5.<\/p>

Ma\u00f1ana se jugar\u00e1n los cuartos de final del torneo. Abrir\u00e1n la jornada el Suizo Jerome Kym de apenas 21 a\u00f1os contra la gran revelaci\u00f3n del torneo: el alem\u00e1n de 17 a\u00f1os Justin Engel. Le seguir\u00e1 el americano con ascendencia espa\u00f1ola, Nicolas Moreno de Alboran contra el vigente y bicampe\u00f3n Constant Lestienne. Los partidos de la tarde que retransmitir\u00e1 en directo en Eurosport los disputar\u00e1n: No antes 16.00 el de Ajdukovic contra Majchrzak; y No antes 18.00 el de Martin Landaluce contra otra piedra del torneo: el dos veces finalista Hugo Grenier.<\/span><\/p>

Intensa jornada de ma\u00f1ana en la que destaca la presencia de casi todos los cabezas de serie del torneo, a excepci\u00f3n de dos j\u00f3venes promesas que han logrado imponerse a jugadores dentro del 150 del mundo: El espa\u00f1ol de 18 a\u00f1os Martin Landaluce, y el alem\u00e1n de 17 Justin Engel.<\/p>
