The big Spanish star was Daniel M\u00e9rida, who secured a solid victory against Poland's Maks Kasnikowski to advance to the next round.<\/p><p>Fate, always capricious, has decreed that Carre\u00f1o and Landaluce will play for their place in the next round against Coulibaly and Crawford the following day.
