Annual Competition Program Description

The Academy has a limited number of places in the Annual Competition Program due to the fact that we personalize every training. During the player’s stay, a training and competition plan is developed according to his age, level and goals.

Players train an average of 35 hours per week (between 33 to 38). They train every day except on Saturday afternoons and Sundays, they also have specific resting days personalized according to their planning: tournaments and/or specific preparations. A typical day includes two morning sessions of tennis and fitness, followed by two afternoon sessions, which incorporate mental training and, if needed, physiotherapy to prevent injuries.

The training schedule varies depending on the season in which the player arrives, but the day is always divided into two training sessions, as said earlier.

The training plan is developed by our team (composed of coaches, physical trainers, physiotherapists, doctors, psychologists, etc.), all professionals, certified by the most prestigious global organizations and with many years of experience. They all work under the direction of Juan Carlos Ferrero and Antonio Martínez Cascales. Both, along with part of the staff, live on the premises. This helps to maintain the family atmosphere that has existed at the academy since its creation. This atmosphere is what has made it a world-renowned academy over the years.

The academy adapts programs to the needs of each and every one by offering the preferred training plan. This training plan is the one followed by top players such as Carlos Alcaraz and Pablo Carreño and includes the Playsight technology system (maybe put the link on Playsight for a more detailed description of the technology or their website) the most innovative and comprehensive on-court training tool available at all the Grand Slam events: game analysis, goal-oriented training, rankings, etc.

Program description

Due to the personalized training, the Academy has a limited number of places in the Annual competition program. During the player’s stay, a training and competition plan is developed according to the age, level and objectives.

Players train an average of 35 hours per week (between 33 to 38) they train every day except on Saturday afternoon and Sundays, and also specific resting days: Tournaments and/or specific preparation. A normal day is divided in two turns of tennis and fitness in the morning and two in the afternoon, including mental work and if necessary, physiotherapy to prevent any injury.

The training schedule varies depending on the time of the season in which the player comes, but the day is always divided into two training shifts in the morning and two in the afternoon, normally one for tennis and one for physical preparation (although always introducing mental work and, if necessary, physical therapy and injury prevention).

The plan will be developed by our team, made up of coaches, fitness trainers, physiotherapists, doctors, nutritionists and psychologists. Our coaches are certified by the most prestigious organizations in the world and have many years of experience; led by Juan Carlos Ferrero and Antonio Martínez Cascales.

The academy adapts to the player's needs, offering them the training model they prefer. This training model is the same one followed by players of the stature of Carlos Alcaraz, or Pablo Carreño and it has the Playsight technological system, the most innovative and complete tool in terms of on-court training that all GrandSlams have. : Game analysis, objective training, ranking...
