In July, we welcomed our academy players from India. Throughout the month, the players from
Pune participated in the summer training and we were able to share different experiences.
The month of July was full of great activities thanks to the Summer stage, however, on this occasion, something that stood out was the visit of our Juan Carlos Ferrero Indian Tennis Academy players to our facilities.
The Juan Carlos Ferrero India Tennis Academy is run by the MahaTennis Foundation, which has been working for 6 years to promote the spread of tennis. At present, the Foundation is working with the academy to encourage the development of tennis in India. Therefore, in the joint training programme, visits of players from there are planned.
During their stay, the Ferrero Tennis Academy players got to know and mingle with their counterparts from Spain, living with them over the course of the training programme. One of the coaches from the Indian Academy that accompanied his group, Narhar Anill, told us about all the positive aspects of coming to Spain, as well as what it means to work under the Ferrero methodology in India. As Nahar points out: ‘the children really enjoyed the facilities and the training’.
The month was full of activities, where practice and socialising allowed us to get to better know each of the players with whom the Academy has been working since January. In a similar vein, Narhar shared with us that ‘all the trainers and staff works to help the kids and get them to improve day by day, everyone is there to help you and this in itself helps you grow'.
No todo fue entrenamiento, la misiva se lleva grandes recuerdos de otras actividades como visitar la ciudad de Alicante, y hacer amigos de todo el mundo. Esperamos volver a compartir más entrenamientos con los jugadores de la India.
