Comunidad Valenciana crowns its alevines and cadetes Champions at the JC Ferrero Tennis Academy

From April 6 to 13, the Juan Carlos Ferrero Tennis Club hosted the Comunidad Valenciana Alevin and Cadete Championships, two key events on the regional calendar that brought together the most promising young talents in Valencian tennis.

In the alevin category, the singles titles went to Ángela Sala and Xichen Liu, after defeating María García (6-1, 6-1) and Lucca Torres (6-1, 6-2) in their respective finals.


In doubles, the women’s title went to Ángela Sala and María García, who defeated Mª Isabel Kuznetsova and Sabina García 6-1, 6-3, while in the men’s draw, the victory went to Álvaro Galán and Lucca Torres, who defeated Sergio Navarro and Fedor Milagking 6-2, 6-2.


In the cadete category, the singles champions were Pablo Rueda and Sofía Kova, who defeated Rafael García Doménech (6-3, 6-4) and Natalia Ortega (6-1, 6-0), respectively.


In men's doubles, the title went to Rafael García Doménech and Javier Ballester, after defeating Manuel Méndez and Daniel Martins 6-2, 6-2, while in women's doubles, Mariia Panasyuk and Natalia Ortega were crowned champions, defeating Amina Kabdesh and Karolina Pron 6-2, 6-3.


In the alevin category, the champions and finalists of the singles competition have qualified for the Spanish Championship, along with Fedor Milagking, Mª Isabel Kuznetsova, Álvaro Galán, Ana Malysheva, Sergio Navarro, and Ioana Nicol Carrasco.


Meanwhile, in the cadete category, the singles champions have secured direct qualification for the Spanish Championship in that category.


The awards ceremony was attended by Antonio Martínez Cascales and Francisco Vicent Caudet, president of the Comunidad Valenciana Tennis Federation.


The Comunidad Valenciana Tennis Federation would like to highlight the excellent work carried out by the entire team at the Juan Carlos Ferrero Tennis Club, as well as by chief referee Carlos Ripoll, assistant referee Javier Sánchez, and line judges Verónica Mataix, Javier Sánchez, Luismi Martínez, and Gema Olivert, whose efforts were essential to the success of both competitions.
