The JC Ferrero Tennis Academy is launching its expansion in China with an ambitious project in Shanghai

The JC Ferrero Tennis Academy is taking another step forward in its international expansion with the launch of a new project in China, specifically in Shanghai, where it has already begun operating through various clubs while moving forward with the creation of a new academy.

The project was inaugurated with a visit by Juan Carlos Ferrero to the Chinese city. The goal is to build a comprehensive center over the next few years that replicates the model of the academy in Spain, including a residence, a school, and all the services necessary for the players’ athletic and personal development.

Currently, several coaches from the academy are already based in China, working both to train players and to develop local coaches. This team will continue to grow gradually, strengthening the project’s presence and impact in the country.

The initiative is being developed in collaboration with the business groups ACT Sport Technologies and GuanOu Sports, two companies with extensive experience that are committed to the development of tennis in the country. They share the vision of promoting the sport not only in Shanghai but nationwide.

As part of this expansion plan, the creation of a tournament structure in collaboration with the academy is also being considered, as well as the organization of clinics and training camps to be held in various cities across China.

With this new project, the JC Ferrero Tennis Academy strengthens its international positioning and takes a firm step toward its goal of bringing its training model to new territories, contributing to the growth of tennis globally.
