Raul Brancaccio is proclaimed champion of the ITF Men's 15 of Villena II
The Italian was crowned champion of the second week of the ITF Villena after the withdrawal of Iñaki Montes de la Torre in the final, due to a health problem.
Brancaccio had reached the final after a great performance, beating Oliver Crawford in the semifinals in a duel that he dominated with authority. The Italian reached the final after a perfect week, without losing a set in the whole tournament. On the other side of the draw, Montes de la Torre managed to defeat John Echeverria in a quite long and intense three-set match.
The Spaniard was playing at a high level and was qualified for the finals in both singles and doubles. Unfortunately, due to a health problem, he could not finally play any of the finals.
Thus, Adam Jilly and Oskari Paldanius were proclaimed champions in doubles and Raul Brancaccio in singles. The Italian celebrates this title as an important boost for his career, adding confidence for his next challenges.

The Juan Carlos Ferrero Academy puts a period to its international tournaments after these two weeks of intense tennis. In just a couple of weeks they will organize another event. On this occasion, the most important international U18 tournament in Spain will take place: the ITF J300 Memorial Eduardo Ferrero.
